Association of Certified Midwives
The Association of Certified Midwives is dedicated to strengthening the profession of midwifery through expansion of the Certified Midwife credential.
Certified Midwives (CMs) are advanced practice midwives providing care during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period, as well as primary, sexual, and reproductive healthcare from adolescence through menopause.
The Association of Certified Midwives (ACM) is a member-driven organization, representing CMs within the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM).
Through our advocacy work to grow the CM credential, we aim to increase access to midwifery care in the United States and improve the health and well-being of our communities.
